A small elongated reservoir retained by an earth embankment dam in the City of Edinburgh, Torduff is located below Clubbiedean Reservoir in the Pentland Hills, a half-mile (0.8 km) southwest of Bonaly and a mile (1.4 km) southeast of Juniper Green. Opened in 1851, it is now operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water and covers an area of 9.4 ha (23 acres).
