An industrial district of Methil in Fife, Aberhill is located in a bend in the River Leven a half-mile (0.8 km) north of the town centre. The Leven Mills were located here, producing flour and spinning flax in the 19th century. Aberhill Primary School (1912) lies to the south and has a distinctive form with four wings radiating from a central hall. Until the 1960s this also housed a secondary school and the building was extended in 1994 now having a roll of around 440 pupils.
