A steep and rocky mountain in the centre of the island of Rum in the Inner Hebrides, Orval rises to 571m (1872 feet) 4 miles (6.5 km) west of Kinloch. High on the slopes are the remains of an extensive and complex Mediaeval deer trap, now a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
