Dean Burn The Dean Burn is a headstream of the Bonaly Burn, which rises in Bonaly Reservoir in the Pentland Hills at the extreme SW of the City of Edinburgh. It flows north for a mile (1.8 km), before merging with the Blacklaws Burn and then the Clubbiedean Burn, to form the Bonaly Burn.
