John Lyon
(8th Lord Glamis)c.1544 - 1577
Chancellor of Scotland and Keeper of the Great Seal. He succeeded his father in 1558. Lyon was one of the most wealthy barons of Scotland. He was father of Patrick, the 1st Earl of Kinghorne (1575 - 1615).
He died in Stirling.
