A crofting township, which represents the original settlement of Daliburgh in South Uist, West Daliburgh (Gael: Dalabrog an Iar) is centred a half-mile (0.8 km) west of the road junction which is now considered the village centre. St. Peter's Roman Catholic church is located here.
