A small settlement on the south coast of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Claddach Carinish (Gael: Cladach Chairinis) lies 2 miles (3 km) east southeast of Carinish, overlooking the narrowest section of the channel which separates North Uist from Benbecula. Once a centre of kelp-working, there was a school here. A small group of thatched cottages remain, now B-listed.
