A village in a parish of the same name in the Berwickshire district of the Scottish Borders, Hutton lies between the Whiteadder Water and the River Tweed, 6 miles (10 km) west of Berwick-upon-Tweed. To the northwest is Hutton Castle (alternatively Hutton Hall), a former stronghold of the Homes, built in the 16th century. Hutton Primary School closed in 2005.
