A scattered crofting township on the west of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Bornish (Gael: Bornais) lies between several small loch, the largest of which is Loch Bornish, 1¼ miles (2 km) south of Ormiclate and 2 miles (3 km) east of Rubha Ardvule.
