Falls of Steall


(Steall Falls, An Steall Bàn)

An impressive waterfall on the Water of Nevis, the Falls of Steall drop 106m (350 feet) in Glen Nevis, 6 miles (10 km) southeast of Fort William. This drop makes them the third highest waterfall in Scotland. The name An Steall Bàn is Gaelic meaning 'white spout'.

The Falls of Steall feature in the film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005).
