A river in the Cunninghame district of East Ayrshire, the Kilmarnock Water (sometimes the Marnock Water) forms to the north of Kilmarnock at the confluence of the Fenwick Water and the Craufurdland Water which both have their headwaters to the east of Fenwick. After following a course of only 2 miles (3 km) through Kilmarnock it joins the River Irvine a mile (1.5 km) south of the town.
