Dumbuck Hill and Quarry

A craggy hill to the east of Dumbarton (West Dunbartonshire), which offers spectacular views south and west over the Firth of Clyde. The crags on Dumbuck Hill are popular with climbers. The hill once rose to 166m (546 feet), although much of the hill has been removed by a substantial quarry, which remains operational. There was a Royal Observation Corps look-out post here during World War II.
