Barmekin Hill

A distinctive conical summit in Central Aberdeenshire, Barmekin Hill rises to 274m (898 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) northwest of Echt. A much-studied Iron-Age hill-fort with five concentric sets of substantial ramparts, crowns the summit.
