Shiel Dod

A remote summit of the Lowther Hills in the far south of South Lanarkshire, Shiel Dod rises to 668m (2191 feet), 2½ miles (4 km) southwest of the Daer Reservoir and 3 miles (5 km) east of Durisdeer. It overlooks the head of the Daer Water.
