A small island, the largest of the Stack Islands in the Outer Hebrides, Eilean Leathan is located at the southeastern end of the Sound of Barra, a half-mile (1 km) south of Eriskay. The island rises to 45m (147 feet) towards the south, close to Weaver's Castle (or Caisteal an Reubadair).
