Norse Mill

Located on the western shore of Loch Risay, this restored Norse Mill lies at the outlet of Loch nan Geadraisean, a quarter-mile (0.5 km) walk along a path from Breaclete on the island of Great Bernera. This is typical of a significant number of small water-powered corn mills which once operated in the Outer Hebrides.
