A small valley of North Harris close to the border with Lewis on the 'Long Island', Glen Vigadale extends west for 2 miles (3 km) from Vigadale Bay on the western shore of Loch Seaforth. It contains the River Vigadale which is crossed by the A 859 road immediately to the west of Bowglass.
