Millport Bay

A bay on the south coast of the island of Great Cumbrae in North Ayrshire, Millport Bay extends for a mile (1.6 km) between Nupkur Point and Farland Point. The settlement of Millport curves around the bay, which provides an anchorage sheltered by Little Cumbrae to the southwest. Within the bay are a pair of islets known as The Eileans and there several rocks, including The Spoig, The Leug and The Clach, together with the stony beach of Newtown Bay, the sandy beach of Kames Bay and, to the east, a little rocky embayment called Luckie's Bight.
