A mountain peak at the end of a ridge which extends northeast from Meall nan Tarmachan in the Breadalbane district of W Perth & Kinross, Creag an Lochain comprises a pair of summits which reach 842m (2762 feet) and 774m (2539 feet) 4 miles (6 km) north of the western limit of Loch Tay and 2 miles (3 km) west of Beinn Ghlas. Its craggy eastern face descends steeply to Lochan na Lairige.
