Tulach

A hill of N Perth and Kinross, Tulach rises to 470m (1541 feet) 1¼ miles (2 km) southwest of Blair Atholl. Recorded on the Ordnance Survey map as Tulach Hill, but this is a tautology, given that Tulach means 'hill' or 'knoll'. The area is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) being a calcareous grassland noted for its diverse and varied flora.
