The Mount

A summit of the Pentland Hills in the N Scottish Borders, The Mount rises to 538m (1765 feet) 1½ miles (2.5 km) northwest of Carlops and 9 miles (15 km) southeast of Livingston. The North Esk Reservoir is located a half-mile (1 km) to the east northeast, while the Baddinsgill Reservoir lies 1¼ miles (2 km) to the southwest.
