Tomont Hill

A summit in the S of South Lanarkshire, Tomont Hill rises to 504m (1653 feet) 3 miles (5 km) south southeast of Elvanfoot. Its summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar, while nearby is a turbine forming part of the Clyde South Wind Farm, which extends across its slopes. A subsidiary summit reaches 473m / 1551 feet a quarter-mile (0.5 km) to the east.
