A rocky hill which lies at the centre of the bulbous headland which forms the southwestern section of the island of Barra in the Outer Hebrides, Ben Tangaval (Gael: Beinn Tangabhal) rises to 332m (1089 feet) 1½ miles (2.5 km) west northwest of Castlebay. The summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar.
