Scolty

A rolling hill on Deeside in Aberdeenshire, Scolty comprises two summits which rise to 299m (980 feet) and 296m (971 feet) respectively, 1½ miles (2,5 km) southwest of Banchory. The higher summit crowned by a monument to General Burnett, who is said to have fought with Wellington. The hill is partly forested and Scolty House is located on its eastern slopes.
