A hill on the northern edge of the Ochils of Central Perth and Kinross, Balmanno Hill overlooks the valley Strath Earn and rises steep to a height of 229m (751 feet), a mile (1.4 km) south of Dron. The M90 motorway sweeps around its northern and eastern slopes while climbing towards Glenfarg.
