Grey Hill

An elongated summit on the South Ayrshire coast, Grey Hill rises to 297m (974 feet) a mile (1.6 km) east of Kennedy's Pass and 3½ miles (5.5 km) south southwest of Girvan. Its summit is marked by an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar. On its southeastern flank is Soapstone Rock, which seems to be soft grey sandstone despite its name. To the northeast is Grey Hill Grasslands Nature Reserve.
