Maari

A prominent hill, one of a small range of three, in north of the island of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Maari rises steeply to 171m (561 feet) to the west of Crogary More, 3 miles (5 km) northwest of Lochmaddy. There are a pair of cairns on its southern slopes and a standing stone in the pass (Bealach Maari) which separates the hill from its easterly neighbour, Crogary More.
