Located east of Loch Etive in Argyll & Bute, this mountain appears as a great dome rising to 928m (3045 feet). It qualifies as a Munro and has a particularly distinctive corrie on its southeast side. The summit cairn is located on the southeast edge of the plateau. The North East ridge is part of the Ben Starav ridge. The mountain's flanks are generally steep with large interesting granite pavements. The name Meall nan Eun is Gaelic, meaning "hill of the birds".
