Keallasay Beg


(Ceallasaigh Beag)

One of the largest of numerous low-lying islands and islets in the inner reaches of Loch Maddy in the northeast of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Keallasay Beg (Gael: Ceallasaigh Beag) is located to the southeast of the larger Keallasay More, 1½ miles (2.5 km) west southwest of Lochportain and 2 miles (3 km) north of the settlement of Lochmaddy. The island is uninhabited.
