Maaruig Island


(Eilean Mharaig)

A uninhabited rock-trimmed islet which is located in the mouth of Loch Maaruig facing into Loch Seaforth in North Harris in the Outer Hebrides, Maaruig Island (Gael: Eilean Mharaig) lies a quarter-mile (0.5 km) east of the small settlement of Maaruig and 5 miles (8 km) northeast of Tarbert.
