A small and shallow loch in the Rothiemurchus Forest, Loch Gamhna lies to the south of the larger Loch an Eilein, 3¾ miles (5 km) south of Aviemore. Located at 270m (885 feet) above sea level, the loch is colonised by reed (Phragmites communis). A bronze cauldron was discovered here by a nature warden in 1964.
