Bernera Island


A small sliver-like island in Loch Linnhe, Bernera Island (sometimes just Bernera) lies off the west coast of the island of Lismore, 7 miles (11 km) northwest of Oban. It rises to a height of 58m (190 feet) and includes the remains of an ancient chapel and burial ground. It is possible to walk between Lismore to Bernera at low tide.
