A peculiar little loch amongst the sand dunes of the isthmus which connects the mainland of Lewis to the Eye Peninsula, Loch Branahuie (Gael: Loch Braigh na h-Aoidhe) is located a half-mile (1 km) east of Branahuie. It is noted for its bird-life.
