One of a pair of small reservoirs lying to the south of the larger Barcraigs Reservoir in the N of North Ayrshire, Kirkleegreen Reservoir is located 2¼ miles (3.5 km) east northeast of Beith and 2½ miles (4 km) southeast of Lochwinnoch in Renfrewshire. Retained by an earth embankment dam, it is operated by Scottish Water for the supply of drinking-water.
