Swanston Burn

A stream which rises on the north slope of Caerketton Hill, a quarter-mile (0.5 km) above the village of Swanston. It flows north through the village and on to the A720 Edinburgh Bypass which has disrupted its course, before turning east following the bypass before joining the Lothian Burn a short distance to the northeast of Lothianburn, having completed a course of 1½ miles (2.5 km).
