A small roadside loch in E Aberdeenshire, Cotehill Loch is located a mile (1.5 km) northwest of Collieston and 2 miles (3 km) east of the Ythan Estuary. It is noted for its bird-life, including a sighting of the exceptionally-rare Wilson's Phalarope (Phalaropus tricolor) in 1984.
