Perth Leisure Pool

A busy aquatic centre located on Glover Street in W Central Perth, adjacent to the Dewars Centre, Perth Leisure Pool was designed by architects Faulkner Browns as the result of a competition run by the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland and Perth & Kinross District Council. The award-winning building was opened by HRH Princess Anne on 29th July 1988.

Stairs and a walkway reach the entrance which is located at the southwestern corner of the building. Behind a pair of water flumes extend from the west side of the building.

The main pool is 25m (82 feet) in length, while other facilities include a unique outdoor lagoon, at the rear of the centre, a wild water channel and waterslide, poolside whirlpools, bubble beds and an interactive water play area for children. The Monkey Jungle is an interactive feature with monkeys, exotic birds, a snake and even a giant melon. The Health Oasis provides a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, together with the O-Zone Fitness Studio.

The Boomerang Play Park lies in front of the centre.
