Bught Park

An area of parkland and the locus for several sports facilities on the west bank of the River Ness in Inverness, Bught Park is situated a mile (1.5 km) south southwest of the town centre. Part of the policies of the former Bught House, this was once a venue for the North Counties Agricultural Show, and is still the location for the annual Inverness Highland Games. Bught Park is now home to the Floral Hall, Inverness Ice Centre and Inverness Leisure Centre, together with its associated aquadome and athletics stadium. Bught Park is known for its fine shinty pitch, which is the base for Inverness Shinty Club. The park also has a miniature golf course, together with a caravan park and campsite.
