One of a number of small and shallow lochs on the peninsula of Dunnet Head in N Caithness, Sanders Loch is located a half-mile (1 km) north northwest of Dunnet Hill and 2½ miles (4 km) west northwest of Brough. There is another Sanders Loch on the opposite side of the peninsula, 1½ miles (2.5 km) east northeast.
