Stob a' Choire Mheadhoin

(Easains)

One of two mountains jointly known as the Easains, Stob a' Choire Mheadhoin is a Munro peak which rises to 1105m (3625 feet) to the west of Loch Treig in the Lochaber district of Highland Council Area. The summit is marked by a cairn. Its neighbour Stob Coire Easain is slightly higher at 1115m (3658 feet). A long ridge called Meall Cian Dearg leads to the stony summit to the west of which lies a steeply walled corrie. Its name is derived from the Gaelic for "peak of the middle corrie".
