An uninhabited islet in the Sound of Harris in the Outer Hebrides, Fuam lies between the islands of Vaccasay and Hermetray, a half-mile (1 km) off the northeast coast of North Uist. It rises to 16m (52 feet) above sea level. This islet should not be confused with another, Fuam na h-Ola, located a mile (1.7 km) to the north.
