Hartree Hills A small range of hills which straddle the boundary between the Scottish Borders and South Lanarkshire Council Areas, the Hartree Hills rise to 435m (1427 feet) at Goseland Hill 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Biggar. Subsidiary summits include Pyatknowe Hill (410m / 1345 feet), Knowehead Hill (383m / 1256 feet), Threepland Hill (373m / 1223 feet), Shaw Hill (370m / 1213 feet) and Parkgatestone Hill (332m / 1089 feet).
