Little Bernera


(Bearnaraigh Beag)

A small island situated off the west coast of the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Little Bernera (Gael: Bearnaraigh Beag) lies between the sealochs of West and East Loch Roag immediately to the north of Great Bernera. The island rises to a height of 42m (137 feet), has an area of 138 ha (341 acres) and its shores are fringed with white sand.
