Glaisnock Water


(River Glaisnock)

A small river of East Ayrshire, the Glaisnock Water (occasionally known as the River Glaisnock) rises as headstreams on Glaisnock Moss, 2 miles (3 km) south southwest of Netherthird. It descends northeast through the Glaisnock Glen to Glaisnock and then north, passing to the west of Netherthird and into Cumnock, where it falls into the Lugar Water, having completed a course of 2½ miles (4 km).
