Haskeir Island

A rocky islet lying 8 miles (13 km) northwest of North Uist in the Western Isles. Haskeir rises to 39m (128 feet) and includes several natural rock arches. The islet includes an automatic lighthouse built in 1997 to mark the Deep Water Route, lying to the west of the Outer Hebrides which is recommended for the safe passage of large tankers.

Hasgeir Eagach, a group of islets or skerries, lies 1¼ miles (2 km) to the southeast.
