Beinn Bheoil

Located to the west of Loch Ericht in the Badenoch and Strathspey district of Highland Council Area, Beinn Bheoil rises to a height of 1019m (3343 feet) and qualifies as a Munro. The summit is marked by a cairn, while the summit ridge runs from north to south and there is clear evidence in the granite erratics of the thickness of ice that once crossed this area. Originating from Gaelic, its name means "hill of the mouth".
