A wooded summit in the Strathbogie district of NW Aberdeenshire, Battle Hill rises to 293m (587 feet) a half-mile (0.8 km) east of Huntly, on the opposite bank of the River Bogie. It takes its name from the Battle of Slioch, a skirmish fought nearby in 1307 between John Comyn, Earl of Buchan, and Edward Bruce during the Wars of Scottish Independence.
A series of way-marked paths run through the woodland, accessible from a car park in the south.
