The summit of Sgor Mor in W Aberdeenshire reaches 887m (2910 feet) 1½ miles (2.5 km) west of Glen Clunie and 6 miles (10 km) south southwest of Braemar. Carn Ghriogair is a subsidiary summit on its northern slopes, while Coire Chrid is located to the northeast.
