Barlockhart Fell

A hill in W Dumfries and Galloway, Barlockhart Fell is located a half-mile (0.8 km) southeast of Glenluce. It has two summits which rises to 126m (413 feet) and 121m (396 feet) respectively. The lower eastern summit is much denuded by Barlockhart Quarry, which extracts Silurian Greywacke for use as aggregate and road metal. A plantation woodland called Fell Wood lies on its northwestern slopes which is also the site of a transmitter mast.
