Kingside Hill

A summit within the Lammermuir Hills of East Lothian, Kingside Hill rises to 342m (1122 feet) on the right bank of the Whiteadder Water, 5 miles (8 km) southeast of Garvald. There is an indistinct stone circle on its western slopes, some 11.9m (39 feet) is diameter and comprising 30 boulders. It may have been a funerary or ritual enclosure, and there are mounds nearby which were either associated with burials or clearance cairns.
